Beth Oloth

Beth Oloth

pic3Despite serving as Israel’s capital, Jerusalem with all its historic wonders and tourist attractions, much of the city’s population is mired in deep poverty. Beth Oloth serves as a home for close to 100 young women who have either been orphaned or had no choice but to be removed from their homes because of desperate neglect or abuse.

Established 50 years ago with the vision that every child deserves a home, over the past five decades thousands of girls trace their roots to Beth Oloth.

pic8While receiving some government funding via the Welfare Ministry, the cost of running a facility such as Beit Oloth far exceeds the government allotment. In order to ensure that these girls receive the support they need and are shown the love to thrive, they need your generosity. Together we can give them a sense of confidence and help strengthen the unique social fabric that is our beloved city of Jerusalem.

The devoted staff at Beth Oloth receive these girls at the tender age of 9 and the next 11 years are marked with one continuous chain of love, warmth and nurturing, alongside a high-quality, in-house education. Each girl is encouraged to develop her full potential, ensuring that she will thrive and build a better future for herself.
