Make a Wish Israel

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Make-A-Wish Israel is the Israeli affiliate of Make-A-Wish International, whose sole mission is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, to enrich the human experience with Hope, Strength and Joy.
The essence of this foundation is all about turning tears into smiles and replacing sadness with joy, by fulfilling the children’s greatest wish, and by doing so, giving them the strength and motivation to help overcome their illness.
Make-A-Wish Israel was founded in 1996 and has since granted over 1800 magical wishes.
Make-A-Wish was established in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona, when Linda Pauling, the mother of seven year old Chris, suffering from cancer, decided to focus on her son’s dream, rather than his suffering, and granted him, together with the Phoenix Police Department, his wish to become a Police Officer for a day. Since then, more than 280,000 wishes have been granted worldwide, in 36 countries and 50 chapters in the USA.
