Yedidim is a non-political, non-denominational organization which envisions an Israeli society where immigrant children and marginalized youth have equal opportunities to fully realize their strengths and talents- regardless of where they were born.
Nearly 70 years after its founding, Israel remains a land of immigrants. If you walk the streets of Israel, you will hear many different languages being spoken and sense many different cultures coming together in this remarkable national experiment that is the modern State of Israel.
Yet, despite these accomplishments acclimating as an immigrant is not always easy and some immigrants face discrimination and feelings of alienation.
Yedidim touches the lives of 3,500 children, teens, and young adults each year throughout 120 communities across Israel. They help people with life skills & employability training, prevention and intervention of risk behaviors such as school dropout, delinquency, and other self-destructive behaviors.
The dream of the modern State of Israel is to continue celebrating the ingathering of the exile and champion ongoing immigration. Through organizations like Yedidim and your support, this goal remains possible.
